Advent Peace Walk

An opportuntity to connect with yourself, and others, as you stroll through this stunning setting of the shores of Lough Swilly. As we approach Christmas- feast of the Prince Of Peace -take time to reflect on what impact the events going on in the world are having on you.   Listen to stories of struggle, passion, sanctuary and transforming grace that are all linked with this place. Notice what they stir in you, and together explore how we can best play our part for the peace we'd like to see.

Join with others for this gentle walk from the Exchange in Castle Avenue, out along the Buncrana Shore Path, and back, with stops along the way.  Approximately 4km in length, the walk will include the chance to take some time in silence and also the option to share a little with others, insofar as you wish. The walk will start with the chance to meet and greet others in the Exchange in Castle Avenue, and to finish there again with a cup of tea or coffee.

Those who come along are invited to bring any short piece ( poem/ reading/ song) linked to the theme of Advent or peace that they would like to share.
